Easy tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • 330g cherry tomatoes
  • Big pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 20g butter
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Halve cherry tomatoes and place on baking tray.
  3. Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and balsamic.
  4. Dot the butter over the top of the tomatoes.
  5. Crush or finely grate the garlic and add to the tomatoes.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until tomatoes are starting to char a little around the edges.
  8. When cooked, mash with a fork or blend for a super smooth sauce.
  9. Perfect stirred into cooked pasta or as a pizza topping.
